U3A Mirboo North & District Inc. is an incorporated association that strengthens its community and surrounding districts through learning, social interaction and a sense of belonging.   It attracts predominantly seniors, both retired and planning for retirement, but the only age restriction is for members to be 18 or over.  

The organisation is governed by a Committee of Management, whose members volunteer their time, skills and experience because they want U3A to succeed in Mirboo North, want to 'give back' and make a difference in their community.   We are dedicated to providing a competent and ethical service to members of the community and undertake to provide to members a trustworthy fair, honest environment based on equal opportunity to participate in events and activities.

U3A is highly valued for its unique role in welcoming new residents, reducing social isolation, providing fun and lifelong learning activities for its members who find it empowering and a great way to meet new people.
